Radicle Health provides access to medical and educational cannabis resources.

Eloise Theisen, AGPCNP-BC

Eloise is a board-certified Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years experience in nursing. Prior to cannabis Eloise worked for about 14 years in oncology at John Muir. She started her own cannabis practice about 6 years ago and she has treated over 6000 patients using cannabis.   Eloise was possibly the first HCP to bring a clinical dosing regimen to the cannabis space and has assembled the knowledge and data to use cannabis to treat a broad range of conditions and disease, especially those that commonly afflict seniors—pain, insomnia, anxiety, and depression. There are very few HCPs nationally with the same level of expertise and experience. Eloise is the current President of the American Cannabis Nurses Association and will serve as President through 2022. Also, Eloise is currently an instructor at the Pacific College of Health and Science, San Diego.

Timothy Byars

Timothy is a researcher, writer, and curriculum developer with over 20 years experience writing, editing, and developing content. Prior to Radicle Health, Timothy co-founded The Agathist Collective, a consulting and delivery service that helped members—most of whom were seniors—use cannabis to treat chronic and age-related illness. Prior to working in cannabis, Timothy worked for 15 years for Oracle and PeopleSoft as an information architect, technical writer, and curriculum developer.

Timothy has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Michigan, which he self-funded by painting houses, mowing lawns, working retail graveyard shifts, flipping burgers, selling encyclopedias door-to-door, and working on a fishing boat in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska. He is currently enrolled in the nation’s first Master’s program in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Timothy is currently an instructor at the Pacific College of Health and Science, San Diego and at Oaksterdam University in Oakland, CA.
